Didn't get past front door in these Covid times. Door locked tho only 4pm and tho guests were inside and a waitress must have seen me at door no one bothered to come see me. I ate here a dozen times when it was called Denise 's and was an excellent French resto. That was then ! I won't try Sophie's ever again . Went to Leon's nearby instead. Poor show by Sophie's

The service was nice but the food was not worth coming for. The mozzarella/tomato salad has no flavor and the mussels were ok but 25%of them didn't open. No bread was offered. Maybe you can see 2 broccoli stalks as my " veggie" under that pile of " potatoes " it didn't say fries/chips on the menu. Best part about this place was it was open late.

Don't normally go for French restaurants, I was presently surprised the food was really good with a good selection of dishes to choose from on the menu. The house red wine was good. Enjoyed the French experience will call again.

The Dish was ok, the service was not so good and a bit messy. A good place if you are hungry and just wanna eat something which is not fast food. I would go with the basic dishes and won't try the more complex orders from their kitchen.

Lovely French restaurant. I had a good meal, chicken in mushroom sauce, which was perfect on a rainy winter day. But there are plenty of options to choose from for the summer too, including few vegetarian ones. House wine is good which is a bonus. You can choose fresh cake for pudding. The service is very polite. Only one thing wasn't right - my chicken was slightly too salty.

Portion sizes were decent. I had chicken cordon blue with fries, and a mousse for pudding. The mousse was nice and thick.
Overall I found it overpriced, so won't go again, and the front door doesn't shut without a good push, so it was drafty near the door, but the service was attentive without being pushy, the food was hot, and location good.
£37 for main, pudding, 2 glasses of wine, and 12.5% service charge.

Lovely restaurant. I brought my partner here on his birthday and it didn't disappoint. Staff were very welcoming, especially our waitress who even put a birthday candle on his cheese board 😁. We had frogs legs and escargot to start. The escargot was a bit bland and I don't think the snails actually belonged to the shells they were served in, but the frogs legs were lovely .The mains were very tasty, salmon for me, pork chop for my partner. Then came the cheesecake, it was absolutely delicious, I loved it. The cheese was very good too, with the added candle giving us all a smile. We will definitely

Lovely cooked food. Great service, nothing too much trouble. Would visit again. A bit on the expensive side.
