Little Shrimps nursery at Morecambe has four large rooms, two on the ground floor and two on the first floor. Each room is set up to provide for a range of activities and has ramped access. Room1 is for the sole use of the babies. It has cots for sleeping and a milk station. It is light and airy with plenty of space for children to move and play.
It is equipped with furniture and age appropriate toys. The enormous picture window allows the babies to constantly see the older children playing outside in the garden. Room 2 is for children under three and is well equipped. It has a water and sand area, tables for setting out toys and activities, role play area and a book/quiet area.

Services
We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage EYFS which starts at birth and continues until the end of the Reception year- from birth to five. A unique child - every child is a competent learner from birth and can be resilient, capable, confident and self assured. Positive relationships - children learn to be strong and independent from a base of loving and secure relationships with parents and / or a key person.
We advise you not to send your child to nursery in clothes which are new, expensive or difficult to clean. In order to take full advantage of the nursery curriculum, we want children to take part in all activities on offer, which includes messy activities such as painting, gluing and clay. When aprons are required, we tell children that they need to wear them, however accidents will still happen!
