Services
Lucas Autocentre High Wycombe Ltd is an independant family owned business with forty one years experience of the motor trade in the Wycombe area. We are a full service operation offering vehicle servicing and repairs to manufacturers standards, class 4 and 5 MoT testing, electronic diagnosis, LPG installations and repairs, tyre fitting, wheel alignment all at highly competitive prices.
The first test is required once a vehicle is three years old. There are different rules if you use it as a taxi. When your vehicle is tested, the MOT looks at some important items to see if it meets the legal requirements. You should be aware that the MOT certificate is not a guarantee of the general mechanical condition of a vehicle.
Many car owners fully service their car every year or every 12,000 miles whichever comes earlier. Servicing proactively maintains your car, reducing the risk of a breakdown. Even if it is irregular, servicing can help maintain your cars value. Lucas Autocentre offers car servicing, with parts matching the quality of the manufacturers original equipment plus a range of engine oils.
Your suspension helps to keep your tyres firmly in contact with the road to assist braking and road handling. Call in to Lucas Autocentre for your free suspension safety check today to identify any problems. Your vehicles suspension system is effectively a complex series of components designed to work together to limit the vibrations and undulations from the road surface, providing a smooth, controlled and comfortable driving experience.
Over 2/3 of vehicles in UK are fitted with air conditioning and climate control systems as standard these days. Many of us are familiar with using air conditioning in our car's on both hot and cold days, but not many people are aware that like other parts of your car, the air-conditioning system also needs regular attention to make sure it is working efficiently.

Just poor through and through. Under the umbrella of being professional displaying certificates but cowboys under the hood. Shocking and shody workmanship and poor value for money. Passing MOTs when the car quite frankly isn't, replacing parts for them to annoyingly BROKEN the next day. Not communicating problems that lead on to more problems. The managing director of this place ought to have a serious look at himself in the mirror and sort out the issues down the hierachal pipeline. You can't run a business on not being transparent. Secondly, the people that represent your garage are inept and

I bought a car which was apparently passed its MOT in October of this year. I have owned the vehicle 2 and a half months and had to put it into the garage as the brakes were deteriorating to a point that was dangerous and upon inspection by the mechanic he was shocked!
The mechanic is currently writing a report for us to go to trading standards about this car garage as this vehicle would not have passed the MOT that it supposedly did. It failed a MOT 5 days (one and a half of those days the garage isn’t open) before with major faults of offside front drive shaft split or insecure, near side

Clutch repair - fantastic service and great price- definitely recommend. Only went there as local garage had a 2 week wait . Richard listened to the 'symptoms' of the fault- correctly diagnosed it on the phone- could not have been more helpful. They collected the car, fixed the problem and returned it within 24 hours. Car drives beautifully now and the price was more than competitive. Absolutely delighted.

I have no idea where these bad reviews have come from, but then I only dealt with Richard, as it was an LPG fault that needed fixing.
My LPG system is basic and had no diagnostics system, but still, he was able to find and fix the fault within 3 hours, at a reasonable price. He is friendly, jolly and very experienced.
I wasn't expecting much, given the reviews, but I'm glad I chose him!

I been there early this month for my nonstarter ford focus. They initially said its a key problem after that they said they want more time as they couldn't find any fault. After 3 days i ring them they said they still looking at it. Then I been their as i could not wait any more, then they said its need to be go to ford dealer because they don not know why my car is not starting and give me huge £190 bill. After paid then i take it to another local garage Chiltern motor as the car is not worthy for ford dealer. Chiltern Motor quickly told me

Needed a new exhaust for my Seat Ibiza, the whole unit including Catalic Converter had gone. Local exhaust place quoted me £522, Kwik Fit £535. Got it done here for £460, still a lot of cash but a good saving on the next cheapest.
Service was quick and friendly, parts in the next day and done by lunchtime.
