We are open for business seven days a week, every day of the year for lunch and dinner. Seating is at socially and sensibly spaced clothed tables with a full waiter and waitress continental style of service. Plenty of al fresco seating is available on the south facing terraces when weather permits, comfort cooled seating is available in The Orangery with more than adequate natural ventilation throughout the premises.
A comfortable cocktail lounge bar primarily for diners, bookings for the restaurant are preferred especially at peak times but we are happy to accept walk ins when space permits. We have a limited number of large round tables on the ground floor seating up to 8 people and can accommodate up to 18 people at one large rectangular table upstairs in The Salon.

For just 40 per year you can enjoy a range of benefits and offers worth at least 350, assuming you and your partner dine at Bartellas just once a month. Loyalty bonus of at least 15% of the cumulative amount you spend which can be then used towards future meals. Free bottle of house champagne when you dine with us on your birthday and your special anniversary date.

We just had the best lunch at Bartellas in Meopham, first time out since before Christmas due to covid in the house…. The staff were so welcoming and friendly… couldn’t do enough for us! Our eldest daughter is in a wheelchair and they made her feel so welcome and included in the meal!!! Not much more to say other than would definitely recommend this restaurant to others x

Been to Bartellas once before, everything was perfect, just so. Chef knew his/her job.
Today, for Xmas lunch, everything was just so-so.
It was adequate, it was ok, it was unremarkable, almost frugal, and therefore a disappointment.
Couple of hard sprouts, a few bits of bendy carrots, peas! Frankly, I've had better Toby carveries.
Dessert, a piece of warm, stodgy panattone in custard.
So disappointing.

Went for a birthday dinner with my partner and her family, was a lovely experience.
Dinner was delicious, looked amazing too. Had to leave partway through so unsure how dessert tasted but have been informed they were all devoured in no time at all.
It was a bit unfortunate that the waiting staff we had were having a bit of trouble with some of the dinners. Unsure whether it was our side ordering wrong or wether it was written down wrong, was fixed before anyone noticed thankfully.
Definitely worth a visit, brilliant atmosphere, lovely staff.

Disrespectful owner
I came for a meal on the 4th of December table was booked for half 7 we arrived early as it was a surprise for my aunt as it was her birthday. The young man serving is was lovely took… drinks order which took a little while to reach us, once everyone had arrived it took around 20 minutes to accurately order the 2 starters took while to come out considering it was only carpaccio and battered shrimp! Then we were chatting away time had passed so we asked how long our mains were going to be as it was now 10 to 9, so we had been there over an hour and only had 2 starters

If you are a foodie this is the place for you. The food is amazing, every dish we ordered was delicious. The atmosphere was friendly and cosy The staff were attentive and helpful and the restaurant itself it's super cosy and had a real ambience about it. Perfect for couples, friends and families it really caters for all. Can't wait to go back. Had a fantastic evening here.
