Services
Situated at 66 West Street, Gravesend, our building was formerly known as the Fishermans Arms, a public house established circa 1791. In 1996, and after a long 200 years of history, it closed its doors and opened as The Gandhi. Bought by Sham and his brother, the Gandhi's aim was to provide local residents a superior Indian Restaurant experience.
Our fine authentic Indian food is prepared by chefs from India to give a truly authentic taste. We use a range of ingredients used in true gourmet cooking and consistently strive to deliver the best dining experience. We continue to evolve our menu and keep up with current trends. Indeed, we feel flattered that so many local Indian restaurants copy our latest dishes!
I eat out at least once a week and am a huge fan of Indian cuisine. Working in the food industry I'm quick to criticise. But the service, food, style everything was spot on. I love trying different indian restaurants but I've already decided my next one will be here. I thought it about time I gave this restaurant some praise after visiting for many years and being served delicious food.

My husband and I went here to celebrate our anniversary recently and had a great time. Staff was very welcoming and professional, the atmosphere was good, everything was clean and neat, the prices are affordable and the food is excellent, we especially enjoyed the Gandhi lamb special. A big recommendation from me.

We met friends there for meal and drinks.Food was ok
Afterwards we ordered bottle of Chardonnay and beers
Unfortunately after meal we had table cloth dirty as you would made mess after 3 course meal by 4 People
We kindly ask staff to change table cloth and they refused it as Its one cloth per customer so we were drinking wine on stained table after dinner.Well done Gandhi
