The Windmill Restaurant

We came from London to visit friends in Lincs and drove to The Windmill for lunch. Wonderful and exciting menu, excellently cooked and presented, welcoming and accommodating of young children, great gin selection. We had a wonderful meal and will come back and will recommend.

We wanted a lovely meal to celebrate our 54th wedding anniversary and having review a few restaurants menus we plumped for The Windmill and we were not disappointed. Our starters of scallops were cooked to perfection as was the rare cooked fillet steak. The bottle of Pinot Grigio Rosé was a refreshing accompaniment to a warm evening. We were served by Olivia who was attentive and efficient. The deserts are to die for, so very yummy. The loos are clean and have hand cream as well as hand wash. Altogether a fabulous evening provided by a friendly team.

From walking in until walking out this restraunt is perfect. A special treat to end our holiday and we were not disappointed. What a gem of a find this place is.
The food is excellent.
Presented perfectly an the service was quality, not invasive, polite, helpful and timely.

Lovely place and food. Staff were great. The only thing I would say is a little over priced especially on the starter's.
But overall an enjoyable evening

We went to have a meal at the windmill whilst on holiday and what a fabulous experience the restaurant is beautifully decorated with tasteful furnishings and just the right amount of lighting giving a wonderful atmosphere the menu offers a really impressive choice but we decided on the haddock with chips it arrived very quickly and was fabulous probably the best piece of fish I have ever tasted. The staff were so polite and friendly I can't recommend the windmill highly enough we will definitely be eating there again. Thankyou to everyone who made our first visit so thoroughly enjoyable

Wow. What a find this was. First off they made space for a table of 9 at very short notice. Then the food was amazing. All adults and children had clean plates at the end of the meal and everyone was commenting on how nice the meal they had was. This place was so good we booked for the following night there and then so we could sample more of the delicious meals. Staff were helpful and friendly. I could not recommend anything more highly than this restaurant. Thank you so much for wonderful food.

We have just left the Windmill Restaurant after having a first class meal. My wife is Vegan, which I pointed out when we booked. Arrived at the Windmill & she was given 2 options for her starter and her main course, brilliant! She had the Indian Chickpea curry for her mains, which she said is the best meal she has ever had when eating out. My meal of prawn cocktail followed by mixed grill was exceptional. Whole meal was very good value & staff were excellent. Thank you

First visit to this restaurant in a small village of Burgh le Marsh. When a gem of a find. The menu was amazing with lots of choice and lots of healthy options, (not just chips!) with everything but if you wanted chips etc they were available too. The quality of the food was lovely and the staff efficient and friendly , would not hesitate to go again. And as for the dessert choice you need to find out for yourself never seen such an array of choices. You will not be disappointed
