Services
One of the areas C&T Engineering Ltd specialise in is the mass production of small, predominantly aluminium components utilised across various industries. Over the years we have designed and developed many ways to enhance the production of this type of item. 2no FOM automatic cut-off saws for the precise, volume cutting of extruded aluminium components.
Skilled toolmakers assisted by a new generation of apprentices and a fully equipped toolroom allow us to undertake many types of work, ranging from 1off prototype turned or milled parts to small batched of precision components. We can also produce jigs and fixtures enhancing our customers' own manufacturing processes.
Our press shop is equipped with power presses ranging from, 6 - 25 ton with press tools and tooling manufactured within our own tool room, enabling us to produce finished components such as corner cleats (chevrons), brackets, plates, fixing lugs and straps in addition to the punching and preparation of customer's own extrusions and components.
Utilising Arburg moulding machines ranging from 25 - 100 ton clamping capacities, C&T Engineering Ltd can offer customers the options of short runs of components to suit their immediate requirement or long term planned production runs. We keep in stock a good selection of general plastics and standard colours that enable us to respond quickly to our customers needs.
Welding is a natural compliment to our other services. We are able to offer our customers a range of in-house welding facilities. These include: TIG welding of aluminium and stainless steel MIG and TIG welding of mild steel assemblies and components. We are happy to weld either single items or batches.
