We are a self catering holiday cottage agency with a fine selection of holiday cottages in the South Hams, a very special part of South Devon. The majority of our self catering cottages are in the Dart Valley, reaching from the vibrant little market town of Totnes to the historic maritime port of Dartmouth where the river Dart reaches the sea overlooked by Britannia Royal Naval College.
The River Dart passes by the waterside village of Dittisham, where we have a variety of holiday cottages. The village sees many families returning for their holidays year after year. The river here is an ideal location for learning to sail: the two sailing schools and boat hire in the village are very popular with our guests.

Dart Valley Cottages is a long-established family run business with over 30 years' experience in the holiday industry working locally within the Dart Valley and the surrounding South Hams. We offer a professional yet friendly service for our guests and pride ourselves on having a good working relationship with our owners most of which have been with us for many years.
East Prawle is Devon's most southerly village on a beautiful upspoilt headland. There are lovely coastal walks on the South West Coast Path leading to secluded coves and Prawle Point lookout station. A great walk is along the coast to Start Point lighthouse then back inland to East Prawle an 8.5 mile circular walk.
Halwell is a small village sitting between Dartmouth, Kingsbridge and Totnes, making the ideal base for a holiday. Easy reach of good beaches - Bantham for surfing, family friendly Blackpool Sands, safe and sandy beaches at Salcombe and East Portlemouth. The area has stunning coastal and cliff top walks particularly at Hope Cove and along Start Bay.
