At Old Hall Nursery we are committed to the emotional, social and physical development of children in a relaxed, friendly environment, which endorses learning through play. Established in 2002, we pride ourselves on our setting. We have a spacious 24 place pre-school and three other large rooms for the younger children which all benefit from inside/outside access enabling free flow play for the children in our secure play area.

Services
Since 2008, a new Government framework for learning, development and care was introduced - The Early Years Foundation Stage. The aim is to ensure that every child is given the opportunity to learn through play to the best of their ability. We have a fantastic range of toys and equipment for all ages and a lovely peaceful library area.
Staff know the children well and goods bonds are formed so that children are happy, well settled and ready to learn. Children feel safe at Nursery and are effectively protected from harm as staff show a clear understanding of their responsibilities about protecting and safeguarding children. This means that children's welfare is consistent throughout the Nursery.
Our hours of opening are 7.30am to 6.00pm. Children can be dropped off at 7.30am for an additional fee of 2.00. We are open 51 weeks of the year. Payment can be via standing order, cash, cheque or we accept all childcare vouchers. Government funding is available for three and four year olds. Each child is entitled to 15 hours during term time.
Our fantastic outside play area offers lots of space for children to run around and for the older ones we have a large climbing frame on a padded area. Old Hall Day Nursery aim to include all children whatever their individual needs, providing them with the best possible care/support and learning environment that is best suited to their needs.
