Say "double overhead camshaft" to Jean and she knows exactly what it means! Jean looks after our front of house with Tony and Yvette. Like all our staff Jean has more years than she cares to remember as a French Car receptionist. Jean will advise you on costs, keep you informed during your car's stay with us and - yes - finally arrange payment.
In 2013 we were appointed as Cheltenham's only RAC Approved Garage for service and repair. If your car breaks down and you are not covered by any recovery service we can arrange recovery to ourselves. If you would like your car or van collecting and then delivering back then just say the word. We collect over a 20 mile radius of our base and this service is FREE OF CHARGE.
We aim to be highly competitive with our fixed cost services and labour rate. Our hourly charge is from 70 per hour depending on the work carried out. As you would expect the more technically difficult the repair - for example electronics- the higher the rate.
And the savings don't stop there - we can often source identical parts to those supplied by the French Car manufacturers at a considerable saving - remember we are all on your side to save you money!

Took my car to a local well known store to have a set of wiper blades replaced. Unfortunately they broke the rear wiper arm. Took the car to French Car Centre and they could not have been more helpful. They sourced a replacement blade, contacted me as soon as it was in and replaced it in a few moments.

Nightmare garage- I am 53 and I have been driving for 35 years- the Owner and mechanic of this place is the worst I ever had to deal with- dishonest and incompetent. I have spent £670 on my car and absolutely nothing has been repaired. My car is exactly as I left it. I now have to go through a small claim to try to get my money back and you can be sure this guy is going to be as dishonest as he can be, lying to avoid taking responsibility. ( on a good note the people at the desk are polite and understanding )

Took my Renault with a noisy front coil spring and top mount. I was charged £45 because they had sat in my vehicle for 30 seconds and turned the stearing wheel left and right to listen for the noise and then told me it was going to cost £350 to inspect the problem further! This of course did not include any parts! The gentleman at the desk was rude and hostile with a narcissistic attitude to always be correct and to inform me of what I should be doing! Unfortunately being ripped off is not one of them even though I already had been! What is also disgusting is that I purchased this vehicle from

Car was taken here by RAC after I broke down. Really friendly staff and I was well informed about what they were doing, called me multiple times throughout the day to update me with the progress and also to check whether I was ok with the work being carried out and the guy explained everything to me in a way which was easy to understand (I know nothing about cars). Reasonable price and quick turnaround, got my car back a lot quicker than expected. Would use again.

Over the last couple of weeks, I have used Nathan and the team to carry out a service on a 2018 clio and a health check on a 2011 clio for family members. Both times are have found their approach, friendly, professional and extremely helpful! They provided a courtesy car at short notice as well. I will definitely be using them again!
