Stayed over night for NYE we managed to find a good deal online. When we arrived to the hotel we were redirected from what we thought was the car park to the actual car park which is situated near the Royal Mail depot and depending on what way you enter Barrow it is easy to miss. The parking voucher was sorted without any fuss which grants you free parking for the entirety of your stay.
The staff on reception were friendly and helpful, the room was a good size with a super king bed, however the room needed a bit of TLC but we didn't mind too much.
We visited the bar for drinks, they had a good

Despite there being a party of 14 to celebrate my 80th birthday we were seated at 3 separate tables each holding 4 with another 2 chairs stuck on the end of a couple of tables. Spread out in a line it didn't seem like much effort had gone into anything. Didn't get much chance to speak to the other people until the night was almost over.
They came a poor second to Abbey House who were fantastic.

Not a bad place to stay in Barrow, really close to the train station, and a short walk into town. Staff all really friendly and helpful, with a great range of drinks in the bar. Breakfast seemed fine, I only had toast but could of gone for a full English which looked great. Only thing to stop it being 5 stars is a lick of paint, but I would still recommend it and will stay there again.
