Services
Bushvalley Primary School is a controlled school within the North Eastern Education and Library Board. It is situated on its own grounds just outside the village of Stranocum on the Ballinlea Road. The building is designed and equipped to high standards in order to provide the very best learning and working environment for our children.
Bushvalley Primary School was established in 1996 following an amalgamation of the former Stranocum and Ballycregagh Primary Schools. The staff at Bushvalley strive and work together as a community to create the happy, secure and successful school we have today. At Bushvalley Primary School, the Curriculum is all the planned activities that we organise in order to promote learning and personal growth and development.
We aim to provide all children with the widest possible range of curriculum experiences. We keep up to date with educational change and adjust our teaching methods to keep in line with the demands of the Northern Ireland Curriculum. Polices have been written for all major areas of the curriculum and are constantly reviewed and evaluated by the staff and governors.
