Services
The course provides a challenge for the serious golfer and a real test for those who tend to hook and equally offers a pleasant golfing experience for all. The par 70, 18 holes (6155 yards) has a testing finishing 5 holes which holds the attention to the very end. Here the River Ore comes into play with the par 3, 14th "Burn" hole a particular feature.
Set in the picturesque village of Scotlandwell, The Well Country Inn provides a friendly, comfortable base from which to visit the many attractions in the area. Good bar meals are available and good real ale on tap, served in the pleasant atmosphere of this attractive country hostelry. Good room was clean and tidy and reasonably well decorated and facilities were adequate.

As a local, I couldn’t feel more neglected. The owner (male, scouser accent) has the people skills of a hyena. He invests all of his energy into his regulars, whilst offering a cheap and artificial welcoming to newcomers...or anyone else that ‘doesn’t fit’ the decor of this tacky slum.
Fancy a nice and relaxed pub lunch/dinner? Try venturing 3 minutes down the road to Balgeddie Toll Tavern - a friendly, family owned pub, catered by genuine people who care for customer service and loyalty. In addition, the food and menu is chalk and cheese in comparison to The Well Inn.
