Welcome to Acorns Day Nursery in Sale, Cheshire which opened in 2006 with a commitment to provide professional quality care and education and to continue with the high principles developed at Chestnuts and Beeches. The nursery is registered by Ofsted to provide full day care for 56 children aged from birth to 5 years.
The Children have use of five age appropriate rooms, which are managed by friendly, qualified experienced staff. A large fully enclosed outside play area which has plenty of space for various outdoor fun. Our aim is to make the nursery an environment which is focused on the children's social, emotional, physical and intellectual needs foremost and an environment in which the owners, would be happy to place their own children.

Services
Staff are appointed following a vigorous and careful selection process in accordance with Ofsted requirements, which includes obtaining an enhanced CRB and numerous references. Parents can be assured not just of the experience and training of the staff caring for their children, but also the consistency of care.
We aim to provide a high quality of education and care in an environment, which caters for children's individual needs. Within our routines we follow a team/key person approach, which enables staff to build a special relationship with you and your child, in an atmosphere where children and their parents/carers are valued and treated with equality and respect.
It is a framework which shapes high standards of practice. At our nurseries we embrace the EYFS wholeheartedly, from activities, resources and staff training through to policies, procedures and management. A child's experience in the early years has a major impact on their future life chances. The Nursery follows a structure of learning, development and care for children from birth to five years old.
We believe that mealtimes should be social, happy times where skills can be developed and foods tasted. Our tasty menus are designed to feed your child nothing less than a completely healthy and balanced diet. Meals may be adopted to suit a baby's individual stages of development, introducing a variety of tastes and textures.
I'm really impressed with how my daughter has come along since attending the nursery. She is a lot more confident with other children than she was a year ago. She loves all of the staff and the other children and tells us about everyone and her day when she gets home. Our experience of Acorns has been extremely positive - the staff are very friendly and knowledgeable and our daughter loved her time with them.
