Lombard House is a fantastic family run Grade II Regency period guest house that was built in the early 18th century. We are located on a quiet south facing terrace in Penzance with wonderful sea views overlooking the fabulous mounts bay, which is the largest bay in Cornwall and home to the famous St Michael's Mount.

We have a lovely south facing front garden for you to use and private parking for all our guests. The guest house has been owned and run by the family since 1995, in which time we have built up a reputation for offering good quality bed and breakfast in a warm, friendly and homely environment.

Our Rooms Report

At Lombard House your experience is important to us, that's why we have made sure that all our rooms are wonderfully decorated and more comfortable than ever before. There is free private parking for your car and free unlimited access to our Ultrafast broadband connection.

Our rooms are fully en-suite with central heating and most rooms have a king size bed and wonderful sea views overlooking the fabulous Mounts Bay, which can also be enjoyed from our south-facing front garden.

From there you can select how many rooms you need, add additional rooms, change dates and add additional parking for the Isles of Scilly. Tariff Report

We will be offering a room-only service for the foreseeable future however, there are many places in and around Penzance to go for breakfast and at a time convenient for you. We are also offering the option of a contact-free check-in, if this is something you would prefer please contact us for further information.

Private Parking Report

While staying at Lombard house we offer private parking to all our guests at no extra cost. You also have the option to leave your car with us should you be traveling to the isle of Scilly, which is charged at only 5.00 per night. Any addition parking required can be added easily to reservation when booking online using our secure online booking system.

We had a lovely sea view from our cleans and comfortable double room. Management was super friendly and polite, bed was very comfortable.
We loved the big fluffy white towels, the space in our room, the views over the sea and the closeness to the shops, sea front and lido. Wonderful stay, would definitely return.

Lombard House hotel facilities ruined our holiday experience. Shower wasn't working and despite complaining ,it wasn't fixed for 3 days we stayed there.
Owner's initial response to problems is 'You must have done something' / 'We can't do anything' which left us dumbstruck.😳
Rooms are small.The house is cramped and the owners don't have any clue of what hospitality means .
Don't stay if:
You're expecting a good service
You're expecting a shower that works
You need step free access or have a baby that has a buggy
Only plus point is the location.
Don't ruin your holiday,stay away !!

Well-kept hotel. The room we were in was very clean. The owners of the hotel were very polite and very helpful when I was choosing the beach with my family where we had a great time. If you want to spend a great family time, choose this hotel because the owner is a lovely family.

Highly recommend staying here if you are coming on holiday to Cornwall. Very clean rooms and great sea view as well. Really close (about 10 minute walk) to the train station and bus station for day trips away which was very handy

We went there for 4 nights just 2 of us but we got a family room which is spacious and have a really stunning sea view from our window and also in bathroom.
The room and all area are super clean and tidy.
Jubilee pool is just opposite side from guesthouse with a short 2 minutes walk.
Very close to city centre and everything you need in a short distance, so convenient .

I have just called the hotel with a basic query to confirm if the availability showing online is correct and to ask what is the maximum occupancy for each room. The lady who I spoke to was utterly rude and very unhelpful. She put the phone down before I was done talking. What an awful encounter.
