Rainbows Nursery School has offered families a nurturing environment for children to grow, learn, socialise and develop for over 25 years. Rainbows is an independently run nursery school in the heart of Elstead, for children aged between 3 months to five years old, offering a nurturing environment for your child to grow, learn, socialise and develop.
We lay the foundation for a love of learning with rich and wide reaching activities including, cooking, music and movement and messy play. We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum, which encourages the children to learn through play based activities. We focus on giving the children confidence with an emphasis on social and emotional development and independence, preparing them for their next step to full time school.

Online journals, where both staff and parents share observations on the children's experiences both at home and at nursery. Chrisna is the owner and manager of Rainbows since 2016 and has worked in pre-schools for many years, she holds an Early Years degree.
She enjoys seeing the children gain confidence and develop during their time at Rainbows Nursery School, ready to start full time school with all the necessary skills for their next educational experience.Micaela is Duty Manager and her qualifications include an Early Years Degree and First Aid. She is also First Aid trained.

We aim to make Rainbows Nursery School accessible and inclusive to every child in the local community. We offer children a minimum of two sessions each week which can be increased as and when it is appropriate for each individual child and their family, and when spaces are available.
We invite you to come and look around the Nursery at any time, and new children are always invited to come for one or two trial mornings with their parent or carer to familiarise themselves with the staff, the building and the other children.Qualified Early Years Professionals to oversee children's development with supporting excellent staffing ratios.

Children under the age of 3 years old are attending Mini Rainbows by dedicated, qualified staff chosen specifically for this age group. Our activities are carefully designed to encourage each individual child's social, intellectual, physical and emotional development. It has been designed to allow continuous play both inside and outside with several areas opening out into the garden.
Specialised organised fun filled days for children aged between 4-11 years, including art Drama and sports events Located in Elstead Village Hall and the Pavilion.
