My child has been going to the nursey for two years, and she enjoys nursey everyday. She makes good friends and very close to her carers. Lanterns offers lots of fun activities such as going to garden, art galleries, and soft play. I have to say Laterns doesnt have the most advanced and modern equipment, and the communication between management team and parents still has room to improve. However, the nursey is really spacious where kids can run around the whole day. It is hard to find a nursery with similar space in Canary Wharf. Plus the staff is very caring and professional. In general we are

Our little one has been in Lanterns baby school for seven months and we absolutely love this nursery! It can be a stressful time trying to decide where to send your baby, after returning to work, and having visited four other nurseries in Canary Wharf I was most impressed with Lanterns, and having sent him to Lanterns, we’re so happy with our choice. From the carers in the baby school to the reception staff and management we feel so supported. We have had a couple of special requests for our son which were met with an open mind by management and full support. All in all, very happy!

Great nursery my daughter loves it so much she can not wait to go here every day always tells me what she is learning teachers and other members of staff go above and beyond I am very happy with what they teach and how they teach and look after the children also during such hard times they have put in great restrictions to keep everyone safe! Thank you for all your hard work during this time and looking after our kids so well!!

Don't send your child there! It's a trap. They are the only nursery asking for money during COVID. I found my child eating sellotape off a wall. It was a choking hazard and they didn't even care enough to remove it next day after I told them. It tool them 2 TWO months!!
Next, I found my child with 39 temperature and they were not even aware.
Finally, after staying in baby schoold 2 month more than he should (they told us it takes a while, as there are not spots in the next age group), we found out that they were giving out spots to new customers, while holding our child back. All in the name

Fascinating to read how suddenly the management felt the need to respond to reviews from 3 years ago saying 'should you have any further queries please do email us". In my view this probably sums up how responsive they are and how much they care. I also love the PR explanation to one of the reviews why they felt the need to charge 50% of the fee for 2 months of the closure. I'm not aware of any other nurseries doing anything similar in the area which tells a lot.

My son was at Lanterns and our experience there was great! My review is relates to the administration. I gave our notice in August 2016 as we were leaving the UK at the end of October 2016. It is now mid April 2017 and we still have not received our deposit back. Back in December, I was told that per their terms and conditions the deposit would be returned within 6 months. Why it would take 6 months to refund a deposit is beyond me!

Speaking from current personal experience. If you want your babies first interaction at nursery to be a positive experience with great staff that know what they’re doing, send them to Lanterns. My children (3 and a half and 20 months) have been surrounded from day one by staff that really care about their development and growth. Also, the staff have been willing to work with us on routines, hints, tips and potty training. So helpful as I had nothing to compare with.
