The aim of the Nursery is to provide a safe, caring and stimulating environment in which children may learn and grow in confidence and self-esteem whilst providing a friendly, flexible childcare service for parents. The Nursery stands in its own grounds off Langford Lane, Kidlington, near Oxford Airport and The Spires Business Park.
Langford Lane runs between the A4260 and the A44, to the north of Kidlington. It offers extensive indoor and outdoor play areas. There are four separate rooms catering for different age groups in two buildings on one large site. The children are guided through a balanced curriculum encouraging social, emotional, physical and intellectual development in line with the Foundation Stage of the National Curriculum.

Services
We are fortunate at Cygnet's in having a dedicated and settled staff team most of whom have been with us for several years. All of the staff are qualified at or working towards level III Early Years Educator status and beyond. Tracy & Stacey, the Manager and Assistant Manager both hold Foundation Degrees in Early Years.
The Nursery comprises four rooms split between two buildings on one large site. A range of stimulating activities using a wide variety of carefully chosen resources, are provided for all children. These are designed to enable children to develop their fine and gross motor skills, to increase their vocabulary to enable them to express themselves confidently, and to stimulate their social, emotional and intellectual development.
A two course lunch is available at a cost of 3.25 per day. There is a 40 pence service charge for re-heating cooked/chilled meals bought from home for over 2s. Children staying over the lunch period must be provided with a packed lunch if Nursery lunches are not requested. Please indicate your requirements on the application form.
Many parents who are planning to return to work put their names down for a place soon after their child is born. If we cannot offer a place when mother is due to return to work they obviously cannot wait and may have to make alternative arrangements. We thus tend to have short waiting lists but long lead times.

Both my kids attend this nursery and I can say is the best nursery you can send your kids to.
The staff are very warm, welcoming and genuinely care for each and every child.
The facilities are great, they do a lot of indoor and outdoor activities, learning is part of the day to day.
Could not recommend them enough.

Loving, friendly staff provide a great environment for fun and development for babies through preschoolers. Failed an Ofsted inspection in 2016 but were swiftly able to act upon the report and make the necessary changes and have since gone from strength to strength (once this is out of recent memory, I'd upgrade my review to 5 stars).
Of particular credit to them is the diversity of play and learning activities they provide and their thorough feedback to parents on their children's development.
