Freedom School Of Motoring has carefully built up a reputation to be proud of and continues to get many referrals from current and past pupils. When looking for a driving school/instructor, should you just be concerned about price? No is the answer. The hourly rate is just part of the story. You could pay less elsewhere, but if the instruction is not as good, you will pay more in the long term.

Ian was the best driving instructor I could've asked for. He was extremely effective when explaining things to me while I was learning to drive. In addition, he was extremely patient and always picked on areas which I could improve on no matter how small and would always explain to me how to make these improvements in a calm, friendly and positive way. In short, Ian is a talented driving instructor who I highly recommend to anyone who wants to learn to drive while having a fun experience!

Ian has the patience of a saint. I had over 40 years of driving experience, but it was in America, which did me more harm than good. It was difficult for me to unlearn all those old driving habits, but Ian “reprogrammed” me into a proper UK driver with a minimal amount of lessons.
His calm, easy going demeanor helped me relax and his informative explanations on what the examiners are looking for was just what I needed to know how to pass. I feel I’m a better driver in general, even if I go back to the States!
