I am a fully qualified grade A DVSA approved driving instructor with 15 years of experience, based in Worcester. I provide manual driving lessons, and my aim is always to provide excellent driving tuition to help you achieve your goal of passing your test as quickly as possible. I welcome pupils of all ages and abilities, specialising in nervous and unconfident drivers.
I recognise that everyone learns in different ways and at different speeds. Your lessons will be tailored to your specific needs. I offer a range of options from a simple driver assessment and refresher lessons. Pass Plus instruction is aimed at familiarising drivers with motorway and night driving and can help you reduce your insurance premium.

Services
Immediately after your theory test you will watch a series of 14 one-minute video clips, each showing potential hazards involving road conditions, pedestrians or road users. You will use a mouse to indicate when you spot a potential hazard. There are 15 hazards to identify and you can score up to 5 points on each one, depending on how quickly you identify them.

I would highly recommend Rich to anyone.
He was always calm, clear and patient throughout and made everything feel simple and straightforward.
He’s a natural teacher and is really good at understanding how you might approach situations differently.
He was also really flexible and willing to support your schedule needs.

Richard is an exceptional driving instructor, he’s calm and relaxed but is aware of everything inside and outside of the car so I felt so completely safe driving. He listens to your anxieties/concerns and works with you to develop you into a safe and confident driver. I waited 29 years to learn as I was convinced I’d be a terrible driver but with Richards instruction I passed first time. He is great with anxious people so if you’re putting it off as you’re too nervous to give it a go then Richard is the instructor for you.

Richard Perry is a brilliant driving instructor in Worcester, especially for young drivers at university who may need to be flexible when it comes to arranging lessons! I gained confidence on the road quickly and was able to practice driving in my own car at home to gain some more experience before my test. This was simple thanks to all I had learnt across the course of my lessons in Worcester! I would recommend Richard to anybody looking for a friendly patient and reliable teacher:)

As an older learner I was quite nervous about taking up driving again but Rich was understanding and gave me everything I needed to feel confident enough to take my test, which I passed first time! I would recommend Rich to anyone in the local area as he is calm, patient, friendly and explains things clearly to help you understand what is required to pass your driving test.

Rich is an excellent driving instructor. I was driving in India for several years before I came to the UK. But, kept failing repeatedly in my practical test here in the UK. So I got in touch with Rich as I wasn’t happy with my previous instructor. I immediately noticed that Rich was friendly, easygoing and relaxed. He’s good in giving feedback. He always tried to understand what my difficulties were and helped me practice proper techniques till I was confident. Something which I found really helpful was when he used to take a pause in between lessons and try to explain difficult situations
