After a healthy breakfast it is a short walk to school ready for the day. And our After School Club keeps your little ones busy and engaged before you come to collect them in the evening.
Our holiday clubs offer care for children aged up to 8 years old whilst you are at work. And if they need some extra catch up on maths or English, we have one-to-one tutors to offer personalised sessions. Glenhurst cares for children from 3 months old to school age, from 7.45am to 6.00pm, for 50 weeks of the year (excluding UK Public Holidays and two separate closure weeks).

Services
The interior of both the main building and the purpose-built Nursery building are light, colourful and spacious. Outside we have a large secure playground and beautiful walled garden with play areas for differing activities and ages, including a sandpit, outside bikes, trikes and other toys, a play house, a boat and an adventure playground on the lawn.
We want that your child should enjoy the best possible start in life. Glenhurst follows the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum which focuses on the 7 areas of learning and development. Your child will be learning skills, acquiring new knowledge and demonstrating their understanding through the 7 areas of learning and development.

Children should mostly develop the 3 prime areas of learning and development first, as these prime areas are those most essential for your child's healthy development and future learning.
Glenhurst is proudly approved to offer all elements of early years funding, and we do not charge any top-up fees for use. Families can use just their free hours, or add on extras if needed and we have excellent flexibility in the timings you can choose including mornings, afternoons and school days.
Breakfast Club, Afterschool Club and Holiday Club are all available to children attending Fairfield Infant School and Bosmere Junior School. We can also care for children on Inset Days and on part-attendance days. All services can be booked on a regular or ad-hoc basis. Our Breakfast Club opens at 7.45am every day.

Our daughter is just coming up to finishing her first year at Glenhurst and we are so thankful to the incredible team for giving her such a wonderful first year. Through what has been a turbulent year, Glenhurst has been a reliable constant for our little one and she has been given so many different opportunities to play, learn and grow. Thank you so much to all the staff who work incredibly hard to give our little ones such a bright, happy and exciting start in life.

Both my children attend Glenhurst, my youngest son has joined recently. My daughter joined early 2020 and has absolutely thrived! Friends recommended Glenhurst as their children enjoyed it and the staff were brilliant- both of which is true! I leave my children knowing they are taken care of but also knowing they have so much fun and interaction. Every session my daughter comes home and is full of beans, with little pictures she’s drawn, she’s developing so well and I’m sure my son will follow after.

I could not rate Glenhurst enough. They look after our three year old and one year old with such care and devotion. The activities range widely and my kids just love it there!! Food is also always received well by my kids and healthy.
During a very difficult year they put all the safety measures they could in place and always extremely quick off the mark on when new guidance was announced by the government with excellent comms.
Thank you Glenhurst for being life savers this year!

My Daughter has attended Glenhurst Nursery and Pre-School for just over 2 years. She was only 9 months old when she stated and I was naturally worried about whether she would enjoy it and be well looked after. The staff were so welcoming and her key worker was brilliant, putting us at ease and my daughter absolutely loved it.
2 years on and I am so thankful we picked Glenhurst. My daughter is progressing really well and has made her own little mini group of friends.
The communication to parents is brilliant and is done via the Famly App. This allows me to see updates throughout the day of her

As a doting grandma I have been so impressed with Glenhurst Nursery. They teach so many interesting things. My granddaughter is absolutely thriving and loves it. My grandson started in October and settled in really well. Thanks to all the staff you're all amazing.

Amazing nursery, my daughter is autistic, and they have been amazing through the whole process of getting her diagnosed, the stuff are so friendly and have made incredible bonds with my daughter and myself, I will be sad next year when she goes of to school and has to leave, but any future children I have will 100% be attending this nursery.

Not the nursery and preschool it used to be!!My daughter now 7 started Glenhurst when she was 2, nearly 3, I chose this nursery because my mum worked here and it would be better for my daughters confidence to have someone that she knew to go to. My daughter spent a lot of time here before starting Primary school and used to attend after school… clubs aswell. I now find that the management have changed everything that used to be good about children going to this nursery and also staff that used to enjoy working here with the children that they cared for. Children are now asked to leave if

My daughter has been at Glenhurst for over 3 years now and has just graduated ready to start at 'big school'. I couldn't have asked for a better start to her life and education. She loves her day at pre school and rarely wants to come home! Couldn't thank everyone enough for the service they have provided us over the years! We will definitely be back for holiday club xx

Glenhurst is an amazing nursery and preschool for your child/children to attend if they want to have fun based learning. Both my children have attended and both have loved every second of preschool. My youngest… is very hard work sometimes but staff members at Glenhurst have been amazing and very professional when dealing with him. I have never experienced a bad moment with this school. I would highly recommend to anyone. And I will be very sad come Friday when my youngest graduates ready for big school. Both my boys have attended Glenhurst from under 2 and love it. My oldest especially, he even asks to go to pre school on the days he doesn't attend. My younger son's key worker does a great job in helping him settle as he has not long moved into the rising 3 class. They both have great bonds with their key workers. It's lovely to hear them both talk about what they have been up to during their day there.
