Services
We are delighted and very proud to introduce you to the Daisy Chain. Kayti took her International Montessori Diploma in 1999, with the hope that at some point we could open a nursery of our own. Finally, having had our two children Sophie and Imogen, we found the perfect building in Havant Road and our dream started to take shape.
The Nursery is conveniently located on the A259 and enjoys spacious rooms and a 300 ft garden with outdoor playroom, rubberised cycle track and a nature garden. We strive to provide a happy atmosphere where children can develop their self-confidence, a place where they can learn through play in a safe, warm and caring environment.
Built in 1895, the building benefits from spacious rooms and high ceilings. The ground floor caters for children between 2 1/4 years and school age. These children are our "Squirrels" and "Wise Owls". The layout provides children with access to the garden both for free play and for learning which is a fundamental goal of the Early Years Foundation Stage Guidance.
From the term after they turn 3 years of age, all children become eligible for Early Years Education grant funding for up to 570 hours per year. We are registered to accept children eligible for 2 year old funding (PM's only) and we accept "30 Hour Funding". Please contact the Admin Manager for more information on how funding would work for you.
Aims and Objectives - At the Daisy Chain Nursery children are able to learn through play in a happy, safe and welcoming environment. We offer a real home from home experience with home cooked food and a beautiful garden for outdoor fun and learning. Activities - The activities that we provide are designed to extend the children's knowledge and skills, and cover all aspects of the Early Years Foundation Stage Guidance.
