Grimshaw and Co was established by director Derek Grimshaw in 1967. As a family run estate agency with long-serving members of staff who are local residents, we offer a wealth of experience and knowledge of the Ealing and Acton markets and repeat business over the years is very much an integral part of our reputation.
Our service is client specific and we offer a flexible marketing strategy to meet each individual client's requirements. Properties are advertised on all the main portals including Rightmove, Zoopla, On The Market and Prime Location. We are regular print advertisers in the Ealing Gazette. We have years of experience in helping clients when a valuation report for probate purposes is required for an estate.
Grimshaw and Co work in conjunction with Lets Help Property Management in order to provide specialist residential lettings services. Lets Help provide all administration and management services once Grimshaw and Co have found a tenant. All invoicing and financial management will be undertaken by Lets Help Property Management.
An Ealing resident who established the company in 1967, previously having worked for agents in Kensington and Ealing. Member of the team for 8 years having previously worked for the BBC for a very long time and is a Hanwell resident. Member of the team for 6 years and has career in lettings and sales agencies in Ealing and Ickenham and is an Ealing resident.
Ealing and Acton have much to offer. Questors Theatre, the annual comedy, pub and jazz festivals, a variety of shops, bars and restaurants and good sports clubs including Brentham Club (including tennis, cricket, football) Ealing Golf Club and Ealing Cricket Club, Ealing Trailfinders Rugby Club and Ealing Lawn Tennis Club.

A difficult house sale for an elderly relative for whom we had power of attorney was made easy and less stressful by Grimshaws. They found a buyer extremely quickly, checked the status of the buyer and liaised with both sets of solicitors throughout . Their staff were tactful and concerned .They understood the need for speed given the health needs of our relative, and coped sensitively and competently at all stages of the process which, given that we live 100 miles, away was essential for our sanity ! We would not hesitate to recommend them.

Myself and my partner have recently been working closely with Liz at Grimshaw & Co for a property purchase in Ealing. She was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, and we were really pleased to have found a property through them. Any questions that we had were dealt with promptly and professionally, and we felt great throughout the whole process.

I dealt with an estate agent to enquire about a property in Ealing. I submitted an offer and the Eatate agent said she thought it’s low but she will forward offer you the vendor. I chased the estate agent twice for an answer back but she never had the courtesy of replying back. I consider this totally unprofessional.

Enquired about several properties in the last several months. Was told they would speak to the vendor and come back to me with an appointment, however no reply back
Not sure if they are selective in who they like to sell their properties to but they do not seem very enthusiastic, or responsive either.
