Our menu features plenty of fresh fish and seafood including sea bass, traditional Thai curries and lots of tasty stir fries using locally sourced ingredients with essential Thai herbxs. The restaurant's location is steeped in history, conveniently situated around the corner from the Captain Cook Memorial Museum on Church Street.

Maybe caught this place on a bad night. My "lightly battered" calamari came with some batter near it but none actually on it.
My Beef Phad Med Ma Muang was the oiliest dish I've ever eaten in a restaurant, I had a sheen of oil around my mouth after eating it that wasn't fixed until I got home and brushed my teeth and used mouthwash.
My girlfriend enjoyed her meal more but also thought hers was a bit oily too.
Shame because the flavours were nice. I don't want to disparage the place because it was ok and the staff seemed nice enough but I won't be going back.

Sorry but poor. Booked two weeks ago for 7pm. Had to wait outside in the train station corridor for 20 minutes as they weren't ready. Staff polite and apologetic. Waited 35 mins for starters then a further 40 mins for mains. My Duck at £18.95 was luke warm. I think too busy, too few staff. £140 for a very mediocre experience. I really wanted to like it as Whitby is fish and chips (very good mind) wall to wall and to find a Thai restaurant was a bonus. Can't recommend based on my experience.
