A Wire electrode typically manufactured from brass is used to Wire Erode a pre-programmed open or closed contoured shape using the very latest in EDM CAD CAM software. If you already have a 2D or 3D file of your product we can transform and manipulate this into a readable format for our Wire Cut machines.
A solid electrode typically manufactured from either copper or graphite is used Spark Erode a desired shape in the work piece. All the electrodes other than diameter tubing and tapping electrodes are manufactured by Twin Brook Engineering. We use both Graphite & Copper electrodes. We can spark erode threads.
A diameter tube electrode typically manufactured from either brass or copper is used to drill holes in a work piece to produce accurate blind and through holes for air, liquid and gas to pass through. This is also used to simply generate a start hole in a work piece for a subsequent Wire Erosion process.
