Bright Engineering has been supplying key customers in the Aerospace and Defence markets for over 20 years. We are excited by what we do and have adopted an Industry 4.0 Road Map! Based in East Lancashire, in the heart of Lancashire's aerospace belt, the company operates a production facility manufacturing precision components and mechanical assemblies.
Over the years Bright Engineering has been involved in many truly exciting projects and industries. Our true expertise and cost benefit to the customer lies in high-speed aluminium machining, but we realise that diversity can also be the key to success. Many of the projects Bright Engineering has been involved in have allowed us to machine materials from peaks and plastics to stainless steels and exotic nickel alloys.
Bright Engineering operates a quality system to ISO 9001 and AS 9100 rev D which controls a machine shop running on a 3 shift system. It includes the latest CNC machine tools and associated infrastructure, including tool vend, 5S environment and Industry 4.0 data techniques. This is backed up by computer aided part programming using Featurecam, 3D design and CNC Coordinate Measuring Machines.
