I capture the laughter, the tears and the genuine emotions of each wedding day - authentically, naturally and honestly. As a documentary wedding photographer, capturing those special moments, connections, embraces and expressions that may never happen again is so rewarding. Capturing a moment in time and then preserving it in an image - that represents a permanent reminder of how it felt to be there at that moment. Your wedding day is your day.
If you've been looking around the various websites you will probably have seen the terms "wedding reportage", "wedding photojournalism" and "documentary wedding photography" used interchangeably. They are all, in my view, different terms for the same style and approach to wedding photography - natural and authentic storytelling.
I have tried to mix this Portfolio up with galleries of just images but also with some of my favourite images highlighted and expanded with the reasons why they are in my list of favourites. For weekend weddings during the peak season my most popular coverage options are half-day (5 hours coverage) and full-day (10 hours coverage). However, as all weddings are different I am happy to tailor coverage options to match the specific schedule and plans you have for your wedding day. For weekday and off-peak weddings I offer coverage from 2 hours upwards matched to your requirements at rates discounted from my peak weekend prices.
The photographs from the most important day of your life deserve to be displayed in an album that is both contemporary and elegant. Most importantly, as an heirloom it should stand the test of time in terms of style, fashion and taste. Every album I supply is personally hand designed by me to be unique to a couple's wedding.

Nic is not only an great photographer but also a really lovely guy. The pictures from the wedding were beautiful and captured so many wonderful moments of the day, many of which we didn't even realise had happened. Nic's unobtrusive approach meant that for the majority of the day, we didn't even realise he was there. Thank you so much, Nic.
