Our school is set in wonderful grounds on the Holmewood estate serving a tight-knit community of families. We are extremely proud of all of our children and we see the potential of each and every child, our school motto 'Dream Big' is how we approach each day at our school. Our community is unique to our school and therefore our curriculum is tailored to reflect their background interests and cultures.
We encourage parents to share in their child's learning and successes. We believe that working together in a strong partnership is the best way to ensure your child's success. We work hard to ensure that our children become independent, motivated and confident individuals who come to Carrwood to learn, aspire and achieve.

Services
A high-quality history education will help pupils gain a coherent knowledge and understanding of Britain's past and that of the wider world. It should inspire pupils' curiosity to know more about the past. Teaching should equip pupils to ask perceptive questions, think critically, weigh evidence, sift arguments, and develop perspective and judgement.
We want all of our pupils to flourish, so that they will become independent, successful and responsible adults of the future. To create a happy, engaging, stimulating and safe learning environment where we encourage all pupils to succeed together. To provide diverse learning opportunities where all children are encouraged to question, challenge themselves and think creatively.
Our school has a strong Governing Body who work with the school to ensure the best quality provision for all pupils. The Governors are proactive and regularly involved throughout the year in the life of the school, each class is assigned their own Governor and they are invited to school events.
Governors meet regularly with senior leaders from across school to ensure that the school is meeting its statutory requirements and to ensure progress is being made against the School Development Plan.We have Full Governing Body meetings which cover staffing, finance and premises, and meet each half term.

On behalf of the children, staff and governors may I offer you a warm welcome to our Primary Federation. We are a Federation of two primary schools situated in the City of Bradford. We are incredibly proud of the uniqueness of each school and the rich and varied curriculum on offer to all of our children.
Our Pupil Parliament is made up of MPs who are representatives from each class. During the process of election, children get to experience democracy in action by voting. As an elected member, children are given the opportunity to influence decisions, develop their confidence and willingness to ask searching questions and lead and plan events.
