Huge car park. We hadn't booked for dinner on a busy Friday night, but they found room for us. Lovely dinner - I had rocket and feta salad and then the red mullet. Comfortable room - great power shower. I enjoyed the french toast for breakfast. The lady at reception printed the tickets I needed for the ferry - thank you!

Don't be put off by the dated exterior of this hotel, the food is first class. We've been for a meal quite a few times and we've never been disappointed. The menu is varied and the quality has always been good. Only criticism is the confusing access to the hotel's car park which involves passing through second hand car lot. Plenty of friendly and helpful staff.

Ahhh this takes me back. This was my first watering hole, back when it was called the Cladhan. These days it's a family run hotel/restaurant/bar which, whilst not up market, offers a good value, tasty meal from a large menu.
I've eaten here many times in the past (I even got married here) and it's never disappointed. It's never amazed me either but that's not the point. This is a local eatery, reliable, and dependable with a menu that rarely changes, I'm sure there is a hotel like this in every large town in Scotland.
Tonight I had the Boston burger which was tasty
