Digital Outcomes and Specialists 4 (DOS4) is a dynamic style framework with the specific aim of helping the public sector buy, design, build and deliver digital outcomes using an agile approach, by procuring the appropriate specialist resource to deliver agile software development. It enables Clients to define and procure a specific outcome such as a system specification or to engage individual specialists.
The Management Consultancy Frameworks are the preferred procurement route for all Public Sector customers to obtain high quality advice and guidance across a range of disciplines. LA International has been awarded framework contracts in Lot 1 (Management Consultancy) and Lot 8 (ICT and Digital Consultancy), recognising the quality of its resources and the robust methodologies that it employs to deliver high value, low cost consultancy services.
The Framework Agreement for Technical Support (FATS) was developed by the Ministry of Defence to facilitate access to a wide range of suppliers of Technical Services (provided as deliverables). The Framework is available for use by all Public Sector bodies and is particularly suited to discreet projects or consultancy based assignments that require a delivery function as well as advice and guidance.
SUPC members and the wider Higher Education and Public Sector can now access the Temporary and Permanent Recruitment Services Agreement, led by SUPC. I am just about to begin my 3rd contract through LA International at Warwick University. My two previous projects have been with the British Army and City and Guilds. On both previous occasions I was treated like a professional and any issues that appeared were dealt with swiftly and professionally. I've worked with LA for over 8 years and found them professional to deal with. The team had always maintained excellent communication throughout the recruitment process. Every time I asked a question, I had received a quick and prompt reply from my account manager (Jake Murphy). Having left them and come back, there are some that quibble on here about awkwardness when you leave, but as long as you don't break their T&C's (you signed a contract, so you honour it) then they are very understanding. I would recommend in the future.

WARNING if you decide to go with them: their contracts have NO NOTICE PERIOD - meaning you have to stay the length of the contract. So if you decide to leave (you don't like the work, don't like people/manager you are working with etc) LA will send out legal letters and dock your pay. I don't mean 100s I mean 1000s - over 2k. Also they have a tendency to pay late. I was getting paid 3 or 4 weeks later. I have been contracting for many years. All the contracts I have signed have a normal one or 2 week notice period on both sides. They care about the money not the candidate. There are plenty of other

I have dealt with LA International for the last 2 years, working closely with Lorien another Agency and so thus you are sub-contracted, this means that if you attempt to work with Lorien directly within 6months of finishing your first contract you according to LA are in the breach of their 'exclusivity clause' which means your contract with Lorien is removed and then raised again with LA and the end result is late payment. I have had on 3 occasions received late payment due to the LA back office. However LA do try their best to resolve issues this can take time esp if they need to go via Lorien
