Bobby the Bulldog! Bobby at present is a 10-week old puppy who will be going through extensive children play therapy training. It is proven that play therapy animals can be a calming influence and can support children develop their concentration levels. Along with this, they will also develop their personal social and emotional skills making them an all-rounder and ready for school.

Services
Here at Lime Tree Nursery we pride ourselves on offering high quality childcare. Each setting consists of well equipped, age appropriate activities and resources to encourage play based learning. Lemon Room which caters for children from birth to 24 months of age. Within this room we encourage creative exploration using messy play, sensory play and using a repetitive vocabulary to encourage children to repeat sounds and words.

All our practitioners are minimum Level 3 up to degree qualified in Childcare and Early years qualifications and undergo continuous training to further their knowledge and understanding of childcare services. Our staff are all Paediatric first aid trained due to Lime Tree holding the Millie's mark accreditation as we as a company believe that should a child require first aid; this should be immediately available.
Our Barnsley setting is based within one large spacious room that caters for children aged from birth to 5 years. Monthly payments must be made before the 25th of the month, payments are accepted by cash, standing order, direct debit, childcare vouchers or tax-free childcare. A 5% discount is available for NHS Staff, Armed Forces, Emergency Services and Local Authority Employees.
We have one specialised staff member who is special educational needs coordinator (SENCO) within each setting. This individual is supported by the setting manager who is SENCO qualified.
We also have an area SENCO who oversees all the additional needs are met for every child across the company, this staff member is highly qualified within SEN and works closely with all outside agencies across the boroughs to ensure all the settings are meeting the individual child's additional needs.

My little boy has just finished Lime Tree Maltby and he is all ready to go to big school. This place has been amazing. The staff have been so amazing. He’s heartbroken to leave. He talks about Karen daily and is always wanting to draw her something or tell her something. It has given him a fantastic boost before school and in making new friends especially after all the covid situations. Thanks again for the inspiring part you’ve all played in Joshua’s journey ❤️

My daughter loves this nursery
She is so happy and has every single one of her needs met by the staff. The activities are exciting and fresh and I get to see everything she has done via the app they provide- from observation, to when her nappy was changed, what shes eaten, how long shes slept and what's shes been up to that day.
They definitely put my child and all the.childrens need first.
