Richard McBrayne, ABS's Managing Director, is the second generation of family ownership. After his father incorporated the business in 1985, Richard took over the business in 2010 and has never looked back. I went all over Brighton searching for a non-standard light tube for my bathroom, a round tube. I almost gave up. CEF told me to go to a Co called SELS, I then found out SELS is actually now part of ABS. I'd almost given up! I was kicking myself for having installed non-standard (I didn't realise at the time) light fittings. But, when I spoke to ABS on the phone, they not only knew what I was after, they had it in-stock and they delivered it to me the same day!!! Absolute amazing service, couldn't believe it!
