The nursery provides a caring, homely environment where children learn through play and exploration. The baby unit and main nursery are housed under one roof creating a home from home environment where all ages integrate and interact with each other. Ofsted (our governing body) made positive references to the relationships the children develop with both staff and peers in our last inspection in 2012 when we were awarded a 'good' rating.
The children have access to a secure garden area immediately outside our main entrance which enables them to move freely inside and out throughout each session - regardless of the weather! We have just recently had an artificial grass surface installed which has enhanced the area further.

It promotes teaching and learning to ensure children's 'school readiness' and gives children the broad range of knowledge and skills that provide the right foundation for good future progress through school and life.
