Byron Court Primary School
Welcome to Byron Court's school community, where you will find a dedicated and experienced team of educators, who ensure that all pupils are welcomed, nurtured and supported to thrive, learn, develop, build strong friendships and have fun. We are a large, growing primary school, admitting up to 150 pupils each year.

We benefitted from a substantial building programme several years ago, to meet the growing number of pupils in the area. As well as increasing our capacity, this also developed our facilities significantly. We now benefit from an all-weather field, excellent food technology facilities, drama studio and large sports hall.
Services
At Byron Court we have a motto that underpins what we intrinsically believe of all our children: 'Believe, Achieve'. This means that we want to ensure that all children are given opportunities to develop their full potential and that the inspiring, broad and balanced learning experiences they have at school will build lasting memories, inner confidence and the ability to make a positive contribution to our society.
If you have a concern about the way we are collecting or using your personal data, we request that you raise your concern with our 'Designated Data Protection Officer' in the first instance. You can raise your concern by emailing the Data Protection Officer at school.dpo@brent.gov.uk, or in writing to the Data Protection Officer, Brent Council, Civic Centre, Engineers Way HA9 0FJ.
The Headmaster was Mr. Ginn, who was such a kind gentleman. My favourite teacher was Mr. Eric Weatherly who was so engaging, kind, gentle, funny, musical (he played the organ every Sunday at St. Cuthberts Church). We were a sporty family, especially swimming. In those days, there was an outdoor, above ground swimming pool, behind the dining hall.
Our pupils are at the heart of everything we do. Effort and diligence are consistent across the school. High attainment and rapid progress are standard across the school. A high quality, cohesive, sequential curriculum is an entitlement for all. Barriers to learning are identified and swiftly addressed.
At Byron Court, we believe that education is a partnership between school and home life and we strive to prepare our pupils for life in modern Britain by building the best possible relationships with their families, teaching staff and with the wider community.

We aim to provide the highest possible achievements by promoting the spiritual, moral, social, cultural, mental and physical development of our pupils in a safe, stimulating and happy environment.Teaching pupils the importance of moral values such as respect, honesty tolerance, trust and personal responsibility.

Such fun memories from this school as a child. The administration was so wonderful when I came for a visit from Texas and brought ‘travel buddies’ to share with the students. On very short notice they brought together a few classes for me to present the program and answer questions. I was impressed how flexible and forward thinking the staff was. Excellent school.

Good school with good teaching staff. But very old infrastructure with old furniture and classrooms. Definitely requires to modernise with the times.

They promise the kids they're going to receive awards for going to school by walking, bike or scooter but after walking 40 minutes every day, they don't give my son anything. it's not fair.

It's very difficult to get to this school there's only one bus to go and then you have to walk 15 minutes. Homework is so poor. They don't care If the children don't eat at lunch time.

I swear to God that not how you do it.
You give homeworks to children, but you don't explain what it means.

My name is Michael Randall. Attended BCPS between 1937- 1942? Apart from diving into the air raid shelter during the war I enjoyed my school days there,
Always recall doing a final end of term exam in Form 11 ? (Miss Leversuch) and a bee alighted on my bare leg. Managed to keep my composure, raised my hand, and Miss L came with a duster and put the bee out the window.
Now living 6 months of the year in Spain, and 6 months in UK.
I still have a 1st class photo (Miss Mc Williams) Will try and find it and post it, and see how many other others can spot themselves.
Best Regards to all who are still
