John Keble C Of E Primary School
On behalf of all the children, staff and governors, I would like to take this opportunity to warmly welcome you to our website. As you explore it, hopefully you will start to understand what makes John Keble the very special school that it is. We are a diverse, vibrant learning community committed to providing the best possible education for all of our children, nurturing and teaching them in a Christian environment.
Services
Children are also members of the school's four houses St Matthew, St Mark, St Luke and St John. Our original building dates from Victorian times and there are more recent nursery, reception, KS1 classrooms and a new entrance hall with new offices. The building is spacious and light and classrooms are generous in size.
We believe that each person has equal worth in the eyes of God. We want every child to know and understand that they have worth and that they are unique, created for a purpose. We also teach every child to know that everyone else has worth and our actions and words must reflect this. We are all interconnected in our communities and it is important that everyone belongs and furthermore knows that they belong.
Believing in the worth of every individual, we are a nurturing, Christian sanctuary of learning, where all can flourish. We aspire for everyone to achieve heights of success, to deepen courage and to experience breadth of creativity, knowing the joy of God's love. Our school vision came out of a wide stakeholder consultation in 2018.
The Governing Board at John Keble Primary School consists of members of the local and school community. It works closely with the school setting the strategic direction, ensuring accountability and ensuring financial probity. The governors act collectively. If you would like to know more about the role and work of the Governing Board at John Keble School, please contact the school.
All parents wishing to enrol their children at John Keble School are warmly invited to visit the school. Please phone the office and make a time to meet the Headteacher and have a tour of the school. Open days for entry to our reception classes take place in the autumn term. In Year admissions tours take place throughout the year, depending on availability of spaces.
