Services
Gauntlet was founded in 1994 by our managing director, Roger Gaunt, with a view to enhancing the customer experience of commercial clients, by offering them relevant, affordable and comprehensive insurance and risk management solutions, delivered through a personal and face-to-face service. In 2019, we celebrated our 25th anniversary and the 10th anniversary of our Appointed Representative network, Gauntlet Enterprise.
Gauntlet Group's activities span three main areas: delivering a broad range of commercial insurances; offering expert health and safety consultancy and risk management services and providing highly attractive career opportunities for insurance account managers wishing to set up their own insurance brokerage, in partnership with Gauntlet.

Based on our experience we advise that you do not ever do business with this company. Our company paid for a cyber insurance policy. They failed to incept the policy with Hiscox despite receiving payment of the premium from us. We discovered this a year later when we came to renew via a different broker the Hiscox policy. Then when we raised this they initially stated that the policy was live. Having finally accepted the error they offered to simply refund the premium 15 months after receiving payment from us. Then when we make an official complaint to Financial Ombudsmen they failed to pay the
