Services
Currently, the Monboucher Suite hosts a range of events, with up to 100 people in attendance. The room used to be the family sitting room.

With roots set firmly in the 13th century, Beamish Hall Manor started life as a wedding gift to celebrate the union between two Norman families; Isabella de la Leigh & Guiscard de Charron, who in the mid 13th century were gifted with the land as a thank you for helping William the Conqueror successfully invade England.
The Stables Bar & Restaurant is situated at the back of the Hall in the converted 18th century stable block. The Pub and Restaurant near Durham City features a large external courtyard and the building itself has been lovingly restored and retains the building's original features. You will be greeted by original stone floors, exposed beams, antique furniture, roaring winter log fires and, of course, Northern hospitality.
We are conveniently located within a short 30 minute journey from Newcastle, Durham City and Sunderland. At junction 63, take the A693/A167 exit to Chester-le-Street/Stanley and follow the A693 for approximately 5 miles. Exit the A693 following the brown road signs marked "Beamish Hall". Turn left at the main Beamish Museum entrance and continue to follow the road until you reach us.
We are always on the lookout for engaged individuals to help deliver the continuous high level of service offered by each department at Beamish Hall. We are very proud of our employees who have excelled in delivering excellence year after year to our guests by offering a friendly and warming welcome that is consistent and can be felt throughout all departments which is why we are known as a hotel with personality.
Beamish Hall is a delightful 13th century country house hotel in the heart of North East England, set in outstanding rolling parkland, on the borders of County Durham and Tyne & Wear. Bursting with unequalled character and charm, the building offers 43 individually designed bedrooms and a luxury apartment and is perfect for a secluded break, team building event, wedding or private party.

We arrived for Christmas day lunch and it was a superb experience from the moment we arrived staff where attentive and friendly canopies & sparkling wine on entering the dining room, the food was beautifully presented and tasted as good as it looked, the wine I thought was fairly priced being a 4 * Hotel, thank you to all involved

The restaurant itself is beautiful but the food wasn't great. I ordered a steak with no sauces but it still arrived with a huge knob of garlic butter which ruined it for me. My husband ordered fish and chips and when he asked for vinegar, was told they had none as they were having a nightmare getting deliveries! The gentleman who looked after our table was an absolute delight, the best part of the evening but unfortunately we won't be returning any time soon.

Booked a Making Memories package and from start to finish it was a fantastic experience. From the champagne, flowers and chocolates on arrival to the 3 course meal and breakfast and everything in between. We stayed in The Lily room and it was beautiful with great views Might seem expensive but definitely worth the money. The staff were amazing and friendly. Would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to do something a bit special.
