Dental Implants are small titanium posts which replace the root part of an absent tooth. The implant is placed into the jaw bone and once it has integrated, it can support a crown, bridge or denture. Tooth loss at any age and for whatever reason can be a traumatic experience. Replacing a missing tooth can be achieved by use of a denture, a bridge or a dental implant.
Sometimes patients require complex surgical treatment such as the extraction of wisdom teeth, the management of complex problems involving jaw pathology or treatment as the result of facial injuries. Oral surgery is offered at our Oxford practice as part of a multi-disciplinary approach. In circumstances that may require surgery it's important to have complete confidence in your clinician.
Although 'dentally fit', many people can be dissatisfied with their smile and we all know that a great smile can give us extra confidence. So whether you want to replace your old metal amalgam fillings or improve the appearance or shade of your teeth, we have a range of treatments that can create a beautiful new smile.
Your smile is the first thing people notice about you - and when you feel good, it shows. Unfortunately, our lifestyles often work against us, with daily habits such as drinking tea, coffee and red wine, and of course smoking, slowly but surely staining our smiles. Tooth discolouration can happen in other ways as well, such as through the use of antibiotics, when a tooth dies, or as a result of a root canal treatment.
We are dedicated to providing good oral health for our patients and have adopted a preventative approach to dentistry. Our hygienists work alongside our dentists to give you and your family comprehensive preventative dental care. Clinical studies have proven that regular treatment by a hygienist will help keep your teeth and gums healthy, your smile whiter and your breath fresher.

After a botched root canal I was apprehensive about a second attempt. Now 5 weeks after the first treatment and two weeks after the second my new John Miller root canal is completely fixed, all infection and soreness gone. Dedicated professionalism and real skill will give you the very best chance of the outcome you want. Don't make the mistake I made. Go straight to John Miller in the first instance.

I recently had an implant replacing a decaying tooth. I was quite worried and hesitated before committing to the treatement, but Dr Rob and his team were able to turn the whole experience into a painless and stressless event. The accuracy and care were outstanding and I am very happy with the results. I really cannot recommend this clinic enough.
