Well a lesson learned yesterday.....if u book a hotel with a third party booking app....check directly with the hotel that the reservation has actually been made!!!! We booked through British Classic Hotels, it had been booked since last Feb '20 and rebooked for yesterday due to Covid , or so we thought!! Gets there after leaving the pleasure beach to check in and no reservation made 🤔😤😤😤 no vacancies anywhere under £300 for one night or some dodgey B and B's ☹ boys

Very disappointed with a 'staycation' offer that I booked for July 2021 which included a king-sized bed, discount for an extended stay and free use of the leisure facilities at the Morritt Country House Hotel and Garage Spa near Barnard Castle. Unrealistic pictures and description of the 'Double Deluxe' room overpromised the size of the bed, quality of the furnishings and level of comfort supplied by the room. There was no mention when we checked in about use of the leisure facilities, which I assumed to be the spa. When I checked with reception we were told that a: the spa was not open for 2/5

So.... one of your UK hotels served nuts in a nut free meal. The staff did not care. We were overcharged. Frensham Ponds Hotel haven’t even had the courtesy to respond to my email. No one answered Head Office phone What a shambles. You put customers at risk of serious illness or death and you don’t care. I am furious
