Oak Warhouse
I started out in the Oak Timber industry in 1999, taking the obvious step from deep sea diving in the North Sea to manufacturing oak flooring in Slovakia (don't ask!). After a couple of years wishing I'd kept to diving, I formed the Oak Warehouse which specialised in everything oak for the home.

One of these homes led to our first commercial project which just so happened to be The British Museum in London and the Palace of Westminster (no pressure!).By now, my wife was talking to me again and we opened a new showroom in Saltney displaying everything from oak windows to doors; flooring to stairs, skirting to architrave.
Services
The staircase is at the heart of your home and making it a focal point couldn't be easier! We have two options for staircases - we can supply you with a brand-new staircase, or we can transform your existing staircase by simply overlaying with oak! If you decide to overlay with oak, you can simply choose which items you would like to replace meaning you don't have to change everything.
Our soft lighting will hopefully give you an idea of what things will look like in your own home. Browse our quality oak doors and flooring online today, or come down and visit us to select our exclusive product range. Pop in during the week 9.00 - 17.00 or on Saturday 10.00 - 14.00 - no appointments necessary.
Items can be collected from our Warehouse which is across the road from our showroom. If need be, we can hold items in our Warehouse until you are ready for them (deposit required for this). When unloading larger items, our driver may need an extra person to help - if this is required we will let you know prior to the delivery to ensure someone else will be at the job when the driver arrives.
The people at Oak Warehouse were very patient and helpful during the process of investigating a whole range of possibilities for our new house. In the end we selected an engineered oak floor for our large drawing room. Phil and Steve were very helpful in producing various finish samples to enable us to select the desired colour and sheen.
Yes, please send us an email with your measurements & requirements and we will get back to you. Engineered Doors pack the body of the door with inexpensive, internal pieces of wood, and cover the exterior with an outer layer of more expensive wood.

This outer layer is known as the veneer, and it's this layer that gives an engineered piece of wood the appearance of a hardwood that would be far more expensive were the entire door constructed from it.No, you don't. You can laminate over the top of old stairs with oak treads or just change your handrail as you wish.

Fantastic product and helpful staff. We did a lot of research and their oak flooring was the best. Went down well and gets a lots of positive attention. The finishing they recommended is great too and 1 year in it looks as good as day one!

Ive done 3 projects with oak warehouse and am about to start my 4th with them, flooring, window boards and skirting and architrave are all first class. the skirting this time will be a special design. they supply me with morrells products and hard wax oli for finishing and maintaining i cant fault it. the only issues ive had with them is i once had… to move 100 doors to get to mine, and they once bought a job lot of rubbish door handles which should be skipped as i was stuck in the toilet for over TWO HOURS once. Phil`s a great chap and as i said i look forward to shortly starting my next

Disappointed!
I travelled a 3 hour round trip especially to look at the ledge and brace oak doors, I needed 3 , for some reason the girl insisted on emailing me a quote I had the sizes all I didn't know was the colour I wanted, I don't know why they couldn't take my order and I could of confirmed the colour later as they had the varnish in stock , needless to say the email quote was never sent and I ordered them instead from a very helpful oak doors uk , they were a bit more expensive but a lot more professional.

They took drawing and schedule of what was required then called to advise of delay in quoting. Eventually part of quote arrived only to be told that they would send someone out to measure up. When asking for quote they were happy with the details.
Not good if you are short of time. Felt they just wasted my time and said that I would find somewhere that may be interested.
