Just had a hygienist session with Paula and then a check-up with Lisa. As always, I am enormously impressed with their friendly, informative patient interaction. You know exactly what they are doing and they keep you updated at every step of the way. Just had my check-up at Forestmead with Dr Patel, assisted by Claire.

John qualified in 2005 from Guys, Kings and St Thomas's Hospital. He is able to provide all aspects of clinical dentistry to the highest standards with a strong focus on total patient care and the wellbeing of the patient. He has a specialist interest in cosmetic and minimally invasive dentistry. This encompasses all aspects of cosmetic dentistry from smile make overs, veneers, crowns, bridges to large complex cases.
Ameena completed her training in 1997 at GDC, Bangalore, and received her UK dental registration in 2008. She has her Master's in Cosmetic and Aesthetic dentistry from Manchester University and is currently completing her PG Certification in implantology. Ameena has over 20 years of experience in general dentistry with a special interest in minimally invasive dentistry and cosmetic and restorative work.
John qualified in 1980 from Guys Hospital, London, and founded Forestmead with Gary soon after. He has been providing dental care to his devoted list of patients for nearly 40 years now! John's hobbies include cycling and running, he has completed the London marathon and many half marathons.
Reducing his hours in recent years, he enjoys spending time with his family including his young Granddaughter and golden retriever Millie and looking after his garden.

Ed qualified from Leeds University in 1998, joining Forestmead in 2002 as a general Dentist. In 2012 he successfully completed a 4 year Masters in Endodontics (root treatments) at Kings University. He now specialises in this field working at Forestmead on alternate Tuesdays only, carrying out internal referrals from our other dentists.
Tomas qualified in Madrid in 2007, joining Forestmead as our specialist Implantologist in 2016. He obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in implant-prosthesis (2009) and Oral Medicine (2010) at Complutense University of Madrid before moving to the UK. He completed his MFDS exams in Edinburgh (2014), and successfully finished his Diploma in dental implantology in Toulouse, France (2016).

Just been in today for some fillings. Firstly, I love all the measures in place to help protect us from Covid but also to help us protect the wonderful staff.
I’m quite a nervous patient but Lisa always makes me feel completely at ease. She explains everything she’s about to do, so nothing comes as a surprise.
Honestly, anyone who is nervous should be coming to this practice because everyone has always been so kind and compassionate. I wouldn’t say I enjoy going to the dentist now 😂 but I don’t worry like I used to because I know I’ll be looked after.

I recently had a tooth extracted and Tomas, the Dental Surgeon, explained the procedure fully, which I personally like so I know what to expect, and also as he pulled out the tooth, which came out smoothly. The instructions for aftercare were clear and precise. I have been going to Forestmead for many years and can recommend the dental practice where everybody is very professional and caring.

Practice has been very well set up to manage patients during COVID, all the way from arrival to treatment to leaving. Our family all see Kat (Wickstead) and we all find her to be very professional, putting us at our ease as soon as we arrive. I recently needed two different treatments in a short timeframe, both procedures were very well explained before, during and after and I am very pleased with both outcomes.

The practice and its staff were excellent again, no half measures. From the text messages prior to the visit through to the whole experience on the day I felt very safe and everything was Covid compliant. The practice goes from strength to strength, it can't get any better or can it? Dare I say it about a Dentist surgery it is a pleasure to go there.

I have been with this practice since my family moved to Horsham in 1987. I was nervous when my previous dentist retired a couple of years ago but I needn’t have been. Ankar is so friendly and reassuring - as are all the nurses. This morning I had a filling and felt absolutely nothing! Top marks to all - I don’t live in Horsham any more but I’ve stayed with Forestmead all this time for a reason - they are brilliant!

I can’t recommend Forestmead highly enough. All the staff are friendly and kind. We see Lisa, who is gentle, patient and takes the time to explain everything and make sure everyone is comfortable. My children love her because she and her nurse have taken the time to ensure that visiting the dentist is enjoyable for them and nothing to be wary about.

I can't tell you how much I hate the dentist. However, Lisa and her team are totally amazing - so friendly, warm and welcoming, Lisa knows her stuff and is very happy to share. Really really happy with this dentist so professional and knowledgeable. I feel very confident they all know what they are doing. Now, I don't mind the visit to the dentist in the slightest. Highly recommend.
