Daisy Chain Day Nursery is a small, homely nursery offering a nurturing and stimulating environment for children from 3 months to 5 years. As we look after a maximum of 30 children, we are able to spend a lot of time getting to know parents and children. Each child has a key worker who works closely with the child and parent.
At Daisy Chain Day nursery we work in partnerships with parents and carers in order to achieve a cohesive and consistent approach to each child's development. Our overarching objective is to provide the highest possible standards of care and education.

Services
The building has been adapted to meet the needs of the nursery. We have age appropriate rooms for babies, toddlers and pre-school with direct and unlimited access to the garden for toddlers and pre-school children. We provide a wide range of high quality resources and toys designed to stimulate and encourage learning.
Daisy Chain prides itself in having a team of caring, skilled and highly qualified staff, employing all childcare practitioners trained to level 3 In Early Years or above. In addition, the majority of staff are trained in paediatric first aid. Practitioners are encouraged to attend specialised training courses to further their personal development and to enhance the nursery provision.
Building a good relationship with the parents of the nursery is paramount to the process of settling and developing your child within a nursery environment. We are committed to developing this relationship as a method of building up knowledge of each child in order that we can best meet each individual child's needs.
The following example of a typical pre-school day is a guide as routines are flexible to allow for focussed activities and experiences, individual children's interest and developmental needs as well as spontaneous play. Activities and experiences are planned in line with the principles of the Foundation Stage Early Years curriculum focusing on each child's interests, needs and stage of development.
Every child is a unique child who is constantly learning and can be resilient, capable, confident and self-assured. Children learn and develop well in enabling environments, in which their experiences respond to their individual needs and there is a strong partnership between practitioners and parents and/or carers.

Both my children have attended Daisy chain , my youngest started there at just 5 months old and my eldest 2 years old until school age. It is an amazing setting, with kind caring and approachable staff, it's such a personal touch there, children are known personally and aren't just another number like some larger settings seem to be. So happy that I chose Daisy chain for my boys, the perfect start to their education and I can't thank all the wonderful nursery staff enough for looking after my boys so well ❤️
