Wandering around Aldeburgh at night and by chance walking into the most convivial eatery with welcoming staff and had the most wonderful local Fisher's gin with samphire to start with and followed by exquisitely fresh seafood marvellously cooked. Had to repeat the experience the following night and the slow cooked should er of lamb shoulder with aubergine and couscous was a world class knock-out. Highly recommended. Fair prices too.

Lovely food, I had the fresh sea bass with mushroom sauce, peas & crayfish. All cooked beautifully. My husband had the cod & chips (no great culinary achievement but the portion was massive so he was happy!) Great location, 5min walk from the seaside. Only issues were the slightly cramped space, the overpricing and the staff (well, one particular hostess) being quite stand-offish and keen to hurry us along to get the next customers in.

Excellent restaurant with friendly service and really nice food. Also a huge bonus is that it’s dog friendly. I would like to have given a higher mark but felt it wasn’t quite 5 stars due to the service being a little slow and the batter on the fish being a little heavy. That sounds so picky, and it really was a lovely dining experience, but for the price I’d expect the next level. The gravadlax starter was divine!
