ACE comprises two nurseries: ACE Nursery School, which takes children from 2.5 years of age, and ACE Day Nursery, for children aged 1-3 years. ACE Nursery School is a popular nursery in the heart of Cambridge staffed by qualified and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioners. The school welcomes up to 40 children per session.

Services
ACE is positively non-sexist, multi-cultural and without religious bias. We take special care to create an atmosphere which is without prejudice and without stereotyping. All children are treated as individuals. Staff and the key person system: The staff at ACE form a committed, enthusiastic team of Early Years Practitioners.
At ACE we believe in providing children with a welcoming, safe, stimulating and nurturing indoor and outdoor environment where learning and play is combined to help them flourish, feel valued and have a strong sense of self. We pride ourselves on listening to each unique child, and those who care for them, and use this information to personalise each child's learning.
Children are divided into two mixed age groups: Puffins and Penguins. The groups rotate around the four classrooms, visiting all areas of the school during every session. Many activities are centred around a general theme such as transportation or China, interspersed with projects initiated by the children's interests.
We do all we can to meet the needs of children and parents. We require a minimum attendance of two standard days per week and various combinations of days can be arranged, including full-time places. Parents who are unable to collect their child at 4.00 pm may book him/her into the short After School Club until 4.30pm or into the long After School Club which is open until 5.30 pm.
ACE Nursery School is situated in the heart of Cambridge. The school occupies a large house overlooking Parker's Piece, an attractive open expanse of grass which provides leisure space for Cambridge people, young and old. ACE is well-positioned for access to colleges, offices, shops and schools for older children, as well as bus and train transport.

My granddaughter is currently attending. It is the best nursery I've ever found, with a wonderful community feel, fabulous attentive, responsive staff under the brilliant head teacher, and it gives your child the best possible start in life. My husband taught some of the children in a pottery group he held and said they were the most memorable, confident, kind, children he'd ever come across, which is why he recommended it to our daughter. We feel so lucky we came across them.

What a wonderful nursery. My daughter loved her time here, the teachers were brilliant with all the children, bringing out the best in them, no matter what their strengths or weaknesses. It's a cooperative nursery so every family contributes to the success of the nursery and their events. I wish they had a primary school too!
