The William Amory Primary School
All of us at The William Amory Nursery and School strive to continue our tradition of being an exceptionally welcoming place with a real family feel and strong values. A place that children and parents feel part of the family and where, together, our children can learn and explore the world around them in and caring, engaging and exciting way.

The staff and parents at our setting share a goal. Together we aim to continue the drive towards ensuring that every child in our care can reach their full potential. Towards giving the children the courage to challenge themselves and be confident in who they are. Towards excellence - whether that be in the classroom, on the stage, the sports field or all three.

If you have any safeguarding concerns please contact Mr Wilken on school mobile 07927 077688 during school hours (phone switched off outside school hours). Ideally we would want to receive all enquiries by telephone so that we can gather all necessary information in a timely manner and make sure that consent has been obtained from those with parental responsibility unless this places an adult or child at risk of harm.
These pages contains information that you may find useful and/or are a statutory requirement to be on the school website. Child Tax Credit but not Working Tax Credit and the household income is not more that 16,190. EC subsidised milk is available for all pupils in Reception class, who will receive free milk until their fifth birthday.
Some of the information below may well be found elsewhere in our website as well, but is placed here so that those looking for statutory information can find it. Please note that the school can provide you with all statutory (and more) documentation in paper form or verbally via appointment with the headteacher.
This will include our SEF, SDP, Data analysis and other key documents. You must publish details of how your school spends its pupil premium funding and the effect this has had on the attainment of the pupils who attract the funding. If your school receives PE and sport premium funding, you must publish details of how you spend this funding and the effect it has had on pupils' PE and sport participation and attainment.

Great school if you are looking for one in the area. I have two children here and they are both very happy. A great diverse range of kind and caring teachers. The head is brilliant and very involved and present around the children.

Our son has joined william amorys reception class this September and we have been very impressed with the measures taken by the school in creating a positive and stress free transition to the school. We are frequently kept upto date with the learning that is taking place in the classroom. The Head is present around the school groups in the morning and end of the school day which is lovely to see.
