Active Kids Nursery offers far more than just standard childcare, treating every child as we would our own. Our large open-plan setting in Hove, East Sussex caters for babies, toddlers, and pre-school children, with a focus on providing an active and healthy learning environment for every child. As a family-run business, we create a "home away from home" and our philosophy of "learning through play" nurtures each child's unique talents.

Services
Our management team is always available to discuss any issues you may have within the setting of our nursery. One of the managers will always be on the premises during opening times, ensuring your children's welfare is maintained at all times. Nicola oversees the Pre-School group and monitors children's progress and making sure they are ready for school by the end of their time with us.
At Active Kids Nursery, we are committed to ensuring that all children in our nursery have a good understanding of healthy eating, allowing them to enjoy a variety of food. We are one of the only nurseries in the area to have an in-house chef that cooks fresh nutritious meals everyday. We encourage our children to question what goes into their food, teaching them about different ingredients and food groups.
We offer funded sessions in term time and all year round. Sessions last 10 - 15 hours per week, depending on the time of year. Funded sessions may also include some free hours, plus additional hours and meals charged at a normal rate. Fees are fully inclusive of all meals, nappies, and extra activities.

I can't speak highly enough of the whole team at Active Kids. They are the most caring, and positive nursery/childcare provider where my children feel totally at home. My 4 and 1 year old love attending (they are waiting at the door each morning to go!) and get so much out of their time there, they are always tired when they get home!.
There is such a wide variety of activities and nothing is too much hassle for them, they accommodate our daughter's tricky food requirements without any issue or extra hours when we need them. The staff are wonderful and settled in our 1 year old fantastically during

The best nursery that my children ever attended to. As an early years practitioner myself, I know what makes a nursery amazing and Active kids has it all. My husband and I are very happy that our children got to know them. Their English has developed rapidly there, they were loved and cared for with lots of fun experience. Highly recommended!

My daughter has attended this nursery for a couple of years and has always enjoyed herself here! The staff have always been very kind and attentive and have done everything possible during the pandemic to keep things going. I am always confident that she will be well fed, do some great activities and have fun :)

Hi. I am a mother of a son who attends this nursery, also my daughter use to attend. Its a lovely nursery, my son loves attending. All staff at this nursery are fantastic easy to talk to and most importantly to me, understanding of every child's need. I would definitely recommend this nursery you will not be dissapointed
