Services
The Nursery Manager is skilled at hiding beans and lentils in our sauces and prunes in our chocolate crunchy cake! We protect young teeth by serving bread or cheese after fruit snacks to reduce mouth acid and always offer a protein with fruit to manage 'sugar highs and lows' that can affect behaviour.
It has been demonstrated beyond doubt that engaging in any Sport has a very positive influence on children. Sports builds up the development of self-esteem and self-worth for a child. It is our intention to make Balloon Day Nurseries accessible to children and families from all sections of the community.
We have an embedded system to ensure that a key person is allocated to every child. This key person completes regularly observations that are then used to inform the child's planning around their individual needs and interests. These include interests from home and interests at nursery. The key person completes assessments on every child to identify any support that may be required.
Our uniform of polo and sweat shirt is available from 2 years but is compulsory in Preschool in readiness for reception school. When we are off site for walks, forest school, at the library, visiting the shops or a local trip it is vital we can identify children quickly. It also protects home clothes from the rigours of an outdoor education and full on creative play.
To secure your place, A non refundable fee of 50 is required to be paid on completion of our registration form plus a further two weeks deposit of the fees which will be refunded back to you once given a four weeks notice in written when your child is leaving the nursery, No question asked for your reason to leave - be it maternity, move from the area or just not need the service of the nursery anymore.
