The Village Inn
In 1958 the first Village Inn Pancake House opened its doors in Denver, Colorado and began offering what has since made us famous- made-from-scratch buttermilk pancakes, fresh eggs cooked any style, sizzling bacon and a pot of steaming hot coffee. More than once, vacationers in Denver stopped at Village Inn for a bite to eat and enjoyed it so much that they inquired about franchise opportunities before leaving.

Such requests inspired co-founders Merton "Andy" Anderson and Jim Mola to place an ad in The Wall Street Journal for prospective franchisees. Soon after, the first Village Inn franchise started operating in 1961, leading the way for successful franchise development. Our reputation for serving quality all-day breakfast endures and carries over to our lunch, dinner and our award-winning pies.

My finance and I stopped in to pick up some pie. 1. They were out of everything 2. They had very horrible attitudes and 3. We had received two pie vouchers as we had previously ordered 2 pies from this location and they had sold them before we came and picked it up. My fiancé tried to use the voucher tonight on some pie slices (not even a full pie since they didn't have any full pies available) and they told him they no longer took the voucher (don't know how that's possible when there is no expiration date on it). This location has no customer service and you can tell the cashier

Normally the food here is very good. Today (1/1/22) is the first time I have ever had a cold food. Maybe it was an off day in the kitchen. I chose to not complain and just bring it home to heat up later.

Great diner, plenty of parking, and the staff was great. Thought we'd be waiting on line at 10am on a Saturday and they sat us right away. The coffee was great and the food filled us up for hours.

The food was decent but the server never checked in on my meal where I would have asked for more syrup since you're only given a small ramekin with a waffle. After I finished my meal I waited several minutes to be asked if I would like anything else. The pie on entry looked awesome but I eventually gave up.

Always consistently good food. I had the Reuben and my daughter had the chicken ranch sandwich. Both were excellent. Wait staff are friendly, accurate and efficient. Food came very fast despite it being quite busy. Love this restaurant.

We give the young girl our name.

There are empty tables everywhere and we ask why do we have to wait so long?
She says they are busy.
We stand longer.
The couple ahead of Us leave.
I finally ask to speak to the manager.
I asked why do we have to wait 20 minutes.
She argues you have not been waiting 20 minutes.
She says we have a large table of 14
I cannot have you sit down and have the waitress worry about serving you.
I said all we want to do is sit down.
She relents and seats Us , saying it might be awhile.

Service was terrible! Waited over 30 min for our food. My bacon was not fully cooked and my eggs where cold. We had to wait an additional 15 min for my husband's chicken fried steak. They did not charge us for his meal but gave us free pies. Because that will solve everything. Not going back to this location anytime soon.

My overall experience was very positive. The food was good, the service was friendly & efficient. I was able to watch clearing & cleaning process of nearby tables while waiting for our food which left me with a positive impression that tables were being cleaned and sanitized to the best of their ability. The hostess seated diners in a rotating manner; which I know they do so as to not overwhelm any one server, but it was impressive to me that they have worked out an effective pattern to be able to social distance incoming diners from seated patrons. Their lost star is due to the now 1 page (front

Very happy experience. I had my favorite patty melt and it was delicious. The bread was fresh with a nice buttery crunch on it. Food was served nice and hot. Seasoned fries were skin on which were light and fluffy inside and perfect crisp on it. My husband had chicken fried steak with country gravy and he said it was really good. Our server was very friendly and attentive. I would highly recommend this VI in Wyoming.

Picked up a Banana Creme Pie a week ago and let me tell you...it was AMAZING! We had about two slices left over. Had some the following day and it was just as good!!! I loved the shaved almonds on top!! Yummmmy!

Food was okay. Location is no longer practicing social distancing and many of the clear barriers have been removed from dining areas. Staff wearing masks under their noses. No longer feel very "safe" eating here.

Valentines Day 2021 started with a trip to Village Inn on Signal Butte for a delicious breakfast!
It was about 930am and the place was busy - 20 minute wait list! They only allow a handful of people in the waiting area so you leave your phone number with the hostess and go wait outside or back in your car until they call you.
Our server, Athena, was amazing and attentive and funny - So many times, ive been to a busy restaurant and the servers are running around trying to take care of everyone and forget the extra napkins or drink refill you asked for but that didn't happen this morning -

I picked up a banana cream pie on 12/23. That went fine. I went to serve it on 12/24. The bananas were soft and brown and the pudding/filling was runny. A slight tip of the pie tin , and the entire pie would slide. I cut one piece and it oozed everywhere. Obviously, I couldn't serve it. Therefore I wasted $14 on it.
In comparison, I bought the same kind of pie for Thanksgiving (with the long wait) and it was fresh and delicious.
I did get a bonus Q-tip in the bottom of the bag.
1/17: I had emailed village inn corporate, they responded saying signal butte is a franchise. They forwarded

This experience was not impressive. If I had to use one word to describe this location, it would be disgusting. We arrived and our table was terrible looking. It looked as if people had ate their and then they sat us down immediately without cleaning it. The ceiling and restaurant over-all looked dirty. The food was okay. The egg kinda looked weird, but that wasn't the issue. The plate it was on was disgusting. It looked dirty, almost like they slightly rinsed it and then proceeded to reuse it. For what we were given, the price seemed kind of disappointing. Wouldn't recommend to anyone

We got into AZ super late at night and wanted food but not fast food; this was like the only place that was open. Cute little diner.

First, I called to make sure it was still open (thankfully they're open till 1!)

We get there and surprisingly, there was a good amount of people eating there.

The food wasn't great, but it wasn't terrible. It was just your average diner, but the service was super good! Our server was just so sweet and so nice! Unfortunately I can't remember her name, but she was just so friendly which made it all so much better!

We got a slice of the lemon

Large portions and reasonably priced menu items, particularly for the quality of the food. Service was lackluster. The atmosphere inside feels like a contemporary Perkins. There is plenty of parking available. With improved service, this would be a 5 star place.

I was impressed with the extensive menu, and the fast, friendly, accurate service. Lunch was served with a smile just 10 minutes after we ordered. My Southwest salad was very good, with fresh ingredients and a good portion size, but a spicier dressing would have been nice. Very nice!
