Our 19th century traditional pub is near the picturesque village of Glenoe, between Larne and Carrickfergus, County Antrim. Since the extension of our 100 seater restaurant we have, with the help of our chef, developed the Traditional Irish Pub with exciting, contemporary fine food at reasonable prices.
The old world finish to the building offers open log and peat fires which gives a friendly and relaxed atmosphere together with a relaxing and enjoyable eating experience. Peat fires, low ceilings, and a fine selection of beers and whiskies, Billy Andy's remains true to its historic roots.

Services
Billy Andy's is one of the few original licensed spirit grocers still left in the country. Dating back to the early 19th Century it has passed through generations of the McWilliams family. First founded by William Andrew McWilliams and his sister Sarah Agnes, it has remained a family business ever since.
Our aim at Billy Andy's is to provide our customers with a wide range of the finest, in season, local, sustainable produce available. We work closely with small artisan food producers allowing us to control the quality of our produce from the source to plate. As the proprietor of Restaurant for the past eight years, we have built excellent relationships with a close knit group of trusted suppliers.

Fantastic meal this evening at Billy Andy’s, looking forward to returning again already! The tastiest risotto I have ever tasted, my husband had the tomahawk pork and enjoyed his as much as I. Food of a very high standard & cooked to perfection. Very relaxing atmosphere & great choice of menu, our nicest meal in a long time! Thank you for your hospitality!

Delightful meal in quaint atmosphere with excellent service. For starters, my wife and I both had the terrine with apple, grape and cider chutney, apple caramel and bacon bread. An amazing variety of flavours! Followed by a mains of: lamb for my wife, steak for me, accompanied by a root vegetables side. Delicious also! We finished with the obligatory desserts: sticky toffee pudding with extra ice cream for her; apple and pear crumble for me. Our first time here: with food as stunning as this, we will be back!

We were having a lot of trouble finding somewhere open for lunch on a Sunday, but we were fortunate enough to come across Billy Andy's, which was both open and able to squeeze us in even though we didn't have a reservation. Behind the bar, there is a restaurant that is quite large and very popular. The Sunday menu is a two course set price menu, and there were so many excellent sounding options. I ended up choosing the prawns for the appetizer and the Larne salmon as my entree, and my husband had the lamb. The entrees were also accompanied by potatoes and vegetables. Everything was delicious

I have been over in NI for a months vacation visiting family. Last night we had a family dinner and hands down best meal we have had on the island of ireland north and south. Was tremendous. My wife is a vegetarian and it can be hard sometimes to get a decent alternative but Billy Andys again was fantastic. Excellent food and service all roumd.

I have eaten in here a few times and find it a fab place to come for a meal or a few drinks. Proper old school country pub and restaurant serving upmarket, locally produced and sourced food.
Been served a few times by the lady from Glasgow who is absolutely lovely and a credit to the place, and had no problem advising me on what to get when I am being typically indecisive (not hard to be indecisive with a menu as good as theirs!)
Little hidden gem out in the sticks! Well worth it!

Steak night. Apparently they were down a chef, so we literally had no choice but to order from the 3 course steak night menu.
The starters were so pretentious and overly complex that I couldn't find any that I'd like to eat. Soup apple, carrot and celeriac? Sweet soup isn't my thing - whatever happened to the days of a big pot of veggie soup?
Steak wise I had the 8oz fillet, it was delicious, fall apart, melt in your mouth and the chips it came with were lovely too. Though it was served on a hugely over-sized plate, it was the best part of the meal.

We took a wrong turn driving back from a walk out by Larne one night, and ended up driving past what looked like a country pub with a bunch of cars parked outside. Curiosity piqued.
The next day, we went for another walk, and this time instead of driving past, we pulled into the lot, and decided to figure out what all these cars were up to. We expected a low-key but bustling bar, but instead found an unmarked door that didn't want to open. Once we'd wrestled it, and the next door open, an empty bar was our reward.
Thankfully one of the waitresses walked by and pointed us at the door
