St. Colmcille's Primary School is in the parish of Kirkinriola, serving the community through the provision of a caring and effective Catholic education service, which enables children to make the most of their potential for academic, religious and human development. Our school is a happy, family environment, hardworking and successful.
The child is at the centre of everything we do. Our whole school community shares one common goal - to do the very best for all children in our care. If you are interested in your child attending St. Colmcille's P.S. please email jmckavanagh210@c2kni.net. We look forward to meeting you and your child and showing you our wonderful school.

Services
If you have a concern about your child's learning, progress or well-being you should, in the first instance, make an appointment with your child's class teacher. Having discussed the matter with the class teacher and you still have concerns you are welcome to meet with a member of the school's senior leadership team.
The Parent Teacher Association is a group of volunteers who work tirelessly to support the school by organising fund-raising events and other information evenings. The school is indebted to their support. Providing all our children with a 10 week programme of Spanish lessons facilitated by Mrs Vanessa Brodie.
St. Colmcille's and Carniny Primary School have worked for a number of years on Shared Education projects. The Board of Governors of both schools submitted an application to become part of the Northern Ireland DSC Signature Project: Shared Education. We are delighted to have received funding from this Project to further develop our existing shared education programmes.
St. Colmcille's After School Club provides school-age childcare until 6pm. During school closures, the childcare service operates from 8am to 6pm daily. This service is registered with the Northern Health and Social Care Trust for 44 children.
